ad-MED Vitrigel ® 2

ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 is a cell culture insert using a collagen Vitrigel® membrane as a scaffold for cell culturing. ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 indicates high adhesive property against various kind of animal cells. Also, it is useful for fabrication of three- dimensional tissue models appropriate for drugs and cosmetics development.

Vitrigel® is a registered trademark of National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO).
This product is supported by Agri-Health Translational Research Project from the Ministry of Agriculture,Foresty and Fisheries of Japan.

Features

High adhesive property of animal cells

ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 indicate excellent cell adhesive property as cpmpare to other cell culture inserts using plastic membrane.

Promotion of cell spreading

ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 is promotes rapid cell spreading and forming a focal adhesion.

Excellent visibility for microscopy

Collagen Vitrigel® membrane is high transparent and low fluorescent membrane. It makes high-clarity phase contrast microscopic observation and high-contrast fluorescence observation.

Designs for easier handling

Optimize culture systems for fabricating tissue models

ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 allows to conduct a variety of cell culture systems in vitro represent environments for cells in vivo.

● Appropriate for constructing co-culture systems

ad-MED Vitrigel® 2 allow to co-culture different type of cells on both inner and outer side of collagen Vitrigel® membrane by using option ring.
